a story about the shapes of water
Rio Claro is a biological paradise found along the “Rio Claro del Norte” basin, in the central Andean region of Colombia. In its territory there are several geological faults that have contributed a great mineral wealth, which has been molding its forms with the passage of water.
A STORY ABOUT THE SHAPES OF WATER
The crystalline and irrepressible water of this river finds its way sliding through the territory and nourishing the tropical humid forest that is on its banks.
Just as the stones direct the path of the water, the water projects its irregular, asymmetric and unpredictable shape on them, complementing each other and creating a joint story in which both act as the negative of the other.
The transparency of its currents allows us to clearly observe what is at its bottom, a floor full of colors and textures.By being submerged in its waters we become part of that history that gradually leaves its mark on the stones and on us.
CARRY THE FORMS OF WATER ON YOUR SKIN
MATERIALS
For this collection we use recycled sterling silver together with hand-blown glass. On it are printed the patterns that the water has carved on the stones of Río Claro over time. Likewise, the translucency of glass allows these shapes to be projected on different surfaces, just as water projects its shape on rocks.

Did you know that with the purchase of any jewel in the collection RÍO CLARO you conserve an area of tropical humid forest of Magdalena Medio. For this we allied with O2 RESERVE whose main mission is the preservation and protection of this wonderful and unique ecosystem. They protect this area by taxing the land as a Civil Society Nature Reserve.
